On Thursday March 25th (from 10am to 12pm), the RDS will host a series of short lectures for senior pupils on immunology. The lectures will look at the role and function of the immune system in the body, bacteria, viruses and allergies, with all content directly relevant to the Leaving Certificate biology syllabus. The lectures are being organized in association with the Irish Society for Immunology. Each of the four thirty minute lectures will focus on how our body seeks and destroys invaders. The lectures cost just €2 per pupil and pre-booking is essential. To book contact Karen Sheeran at RDS Science.
