YouTube Saturday - How Does Cancer Spread? A Ted-Ed Lesson.

Cancer is caused by a loss of control of mitosis in the body. Normal cells mutate and begin to divide uncontrollably, forming tumours. Many tumours remain in the same tissue or organ but some can spread to other parts of the body. In this lesson we will explore the various ways cancer can spread through the body. It also introduces the principles of immunotherapy - which has been in the news lately after the pioneers of the treatment were awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine.

This video is produced for Ted-Ed and a lesson around the video can be found here.
